I have known of Sam Sparro for quiet some time now, when first listening to him you say to yourself "How gay is this man". The anwser- pretty gay. Jokes aside I always thought his music was great. When i heard of Ellie Goulding, I thought to myself "oh another indie singer big whoop". I was wrong. Ellie Goulding did a cover of Sam Sparro's hit Black and Gold, She sped it up and at first i thought it wasnt very good. Only after listening to it two more times did i actually like it. Some of her other song like "wish i stayed" and "guns + horses" are very good two. Its like a combination of a skinny adele mixed with a soft electro background. Her soft voice isnt amazing and neither are her songs, but its orginality and new age sound make it better than most, and thats what Ellie Goulding really is. Just better than most. Not the best but not the worst. I would pay to see her live sure. would I pay a cent over $15, probably notl. To wrap this up she is a B-, she would have been a C+ but her orginality is what brought the grade up.
